id=\"2f9d8ce1-3369-4805-924e-7596b138eb37\" class=\"bulleted-list\"><li>Changes to the scope should be handled in a<mark class=\"highlight-orange\"> structured and controlled<\/mark> way.<\/li><\/ul><ul id=\"784ab5de-b2e3-4fe0-921c-1d50ca573fc7\" class=\"bulleted-list\"><li>It is important to begin with the end in mind <mark class=\"highlight-orange\">when it comes to scope <mark class=\"highlight-orange\">work pro-actively<\/mark> to <mark class=\"highlight-orange\">identify and influence the factors that cause change<\/mark>.<\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"bulleted-list\"><li>Gold Plating: Try to exceed customer expectactions by delivering more than was agreed upon. <mark class=\"highlight-orange\">Increases risk and uncertainty<\/mark> and may
