quality into a product, but you can deliverately plan for it from the start.<\/li><\/ul><ul id=\"b35c7105-fd3a-46a1-a02d-f7bffcd471fc\" class=\"bulleted-list\"><li><mark class=\"highlight-orange\">The responsibility for quality rests heavily on the project manager<\/mark>.<\/li><\/ul><ul id=\"fae2a4d9-26c0-40a5-a7f0-92b835c56d05\" class=\"bulleted-list\"><li>It is project manager&#x27;s responsibility to<mark class=\"highlight-orange\"> provide the resources to make quality happen<\/mark>, and the project manager is <mark class=\"highlight-orange\">ultimately responsible and accountable for the quality of the project<\/mark>.<\/li><\/ul><ul id=\"26e57165-183d-47dc-b23d-6a91943b0db5\" class=\"bulleted-list\"><li>Plan Quality Management, Manage Quality, and Control Quality <mark class=\"highlight-orange\">map closely to the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle<\/mark> as described by Deming &#8211; some questions will heavily rely on <mark class=\"highlight-orange\">How quality activities flow and connect<\/mark>.<\/li><\/ul><ul id=\"65a73045-8cdd-4ced-bb98-cea1c3e06011\" class=\"bulleted-list\"><li>Some of the<mark class=\"highlight-orange\"> investment in quality is usually borne by the organization<\/mark> since it would be far too expensive for each project to have its own quality program.<\/li><\/ul><ul id=\"883ecd4d-4d99-46af-bb79-0e613b98edbf\" class=\"bulleted-list\"><li>Quality is <mark class=\"highlight-orange\">the degree to which a set of inherent characeteristics fulfills requirements<\/mark>.<\/li><\/ul><ul id=\"26c35901-d9a1-4b75-a760-2046a0a68b50\" class=\"bulleted-list\"><li><mark class=\"highlight-orange\">Requirements or needs of the project may be stated or merely implied<\/mark>.<\/li><\/ul><p
