Ingredients:
- Unsalted Butter 140g
- Powdered Sugar 40g
- Flour 210g
- Cocoa Powder 20g
- Roasted Sliced Almond 20g
- Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate powder 1 pouch/40g (Optional)
- Powdered Milk 10g (Optional)
Instruction:
- Soften butter at room temperature
- Add powdered sugar then beat butter until creamy
- Add flour through a sifter into the butter gradually and keep beating after each addition
- Add Cocoa powder, hot chocolate powder and sliced almond then mix with dough
- Knead the dough gently to get rid of excess air in the dough
- Wrap the dough with the plastic wrap
- Shape the dough into a stick shape
- Freeze the dough for 1 hr
- Cut the dough into 1/4 inch thick pieces
- Preheat the oven to 330F
- Bake the shortbread for 20 mins at 330F
- Cool down the shortbreads, they will become harder
